Methadone treatment has been a mainstay of the US drug abuse treatment system since its inception in the mid 1960s ( Dole & Nyswander 1965) and today there are approximately 240,000 patients enrolled in such programs. Patient-centered program and policy implications are discussed. An analysis of the patterns of agreement and disagreement are presented. Patients’ reasons for discharge were compared to counselors’ reasons as indicated in discharge summary forms. The former factors are richly described through patients’ words and underscore the ways in which patients’ perceptions of control exerted by the program and by the medication and misunderstandings of program structure can lead to premature discharge. The two most consistent themes are program-related factors and incarceration. Through an examination of 42 qualitative interviews with patients prematurely discharged from six methadone treatment programs in Baltimore, this paper highlights factors patients describe as contributing to their reasons for being discharged within the first 12 months of the treatment. Nevertheless, large-scale multi-site longitudinal studies over the past three decades indicate that the majority of patients drop out during the first year of methadone treatment. Longer retention in drug abuse treatment is associated with better patient outcomes and research indicates the first 12 months of methadone treatment are critical to patient success. ![]() Object returned by organize.syncsa, the comm argument is used as an alternative way Organize.syncsa using, in this case only the argument comm. The result from our testing confirms that it does perform as reported by Samsung and that itself is enough to put it on the top bracket of performance NVMEs. Grand Turismo 7 and Far Changing Tides also saw a quicker loading time with a 7% difference in comparison. The Samsung 990 Pro managed to cut down an additional 8% of loading time for Elden Ring in comparison to its predecessor. The most noticeable difference was on Elden Ring. The newer Samsung 990 PRO performed considerably faster than its predecessor for all games and some with a significant difference. Based on the results, the Samsung 990 is a great fit for most users including gamers and streamers. ![]() In 3DMark Storage Benchmark, the Samsung 990 PRO has performed remarkably well in comparison to both its predecessor and other competitors in the market. We have also factored in slight manufacturing deviations as it may sometimes perform slightly better or worse than the others within the same product line, but well within an acceptable range in quality control requirements. While the results are slightly lower than the theoretical read and write speeds reported by Samsung, the Samsung 990 PRO is indeed capable of performing at 7450/6900 MBs read and write speeds if we are to consider in factors such as different software and hardware benchmark environments. The Samsung 990 PRO was subjected to 5 rounds of benchmarking on CrystalDiskMark 8.0, and the graph above is the average score from the tabulated data. To replicate a daily use case environment for benchmarking, I’ve cloned a copy of Windows 10 from my gaming and work PC that has all the necessary processes running in the background. In this review, our benchmarks will be focused on daily use case and synthetic loading speed of the 2TB Samsung 990 PRO. While lifespan reliability takes time to be proven, speed is not. For comparison purposes, 600TBW in 5 years is equivalent to writing 336GB of data per day for 5 years – which is plenty even for most active users. In terms of warranty, the Samsung 990 PRO comes with a 5-year limited warranty for both versions, under the condition of 600TBW for the 1TB version and 1200TBW for the 2TB version. The reported 7450/6900 MBs read and write speed, if achievable on a general use case scenario makes it a highly desirable NVME for both PC and console owners. The theoretical read and write speed is not only significantly faster than its predecessor, and possibly one of the fastest in the market today. The data type that is accepted is double, single, datetime, duration. ‘a’ can be a vector, matrix or an array of both complex and real numbers. The data types that are supported are double, single, datetime, duration. If a is a vector, then the length of x should be equal to the length of a, while if a is an array, then the length of x should be equal to the size(a,1). The length of x is dependent on another input argument i.e. The input arguments have certain criteria and rules like, first input value x should be a vector of only real numbers and values that are defined in it should be distinct. To define the sample values of x and a to find the interpolated values using a different type of interpolated method. To define the sample values of x and a to find the interpolated values: ![]() Please find the below examples which explain the concept of linear interpolation in Matlab: Example #1 If a is an array, then the default set of points lies within a range of 1 to size(a,1). The default set of numbers falls under a specific range of 1 to n, where n is decided according to the shape of a. aq=interp1(a, xq): This returns the interpolated values and a set of coordinates are assumed. We can mention extrapolation to ‘extrap’ if we want to apply the extrapolation algorithm to the points. aq=interp1(x, a, xq, method, extrapolation method): Extrapolation can be defined in the syntax if we want to check the points that are declared outside the defined value of x.The default method used is always linear. There are many interpolation methods like nearest, linear, next, previous, cubic, v5cubic, pchip, spline or makima. aq=interp1(x, a, xq, method): Here we can change the interpolation method, which we will discuss later. If there are many values, then a can be declared in an array. The input ‘x’ is a vector that contains every sample point, a has the defined values and xq contains the coordinates. aq=interp1(x, a, xq): This returns the interpolated values of the function (one-dimensional) with the help of the linear interpolation method. Here, we will mainly discuss one-dimensional interpolation or linear interpolation syntax: ![]() Various functions are associated with interpolation techniques. I got invited eventually and wasn't so impressed. The invited guests - usually teachers and professionals - would go in hats and gloves. One group put on a Mardi Gras Breakfast Dance that was very fancy. That's good to impose some kind of order where so many people are involved. Now Mardi Gras is so big that organized routes need to be followed. They wandered all over, passing households that paid them to go that way. The "African King" would wear a huge crystal doorknob as a ring. The Zulu parade mocked the white parades. I thought it was a shame to get all fancy on Mardi Gras, instead of playing like the other maskers. They would wear violet corsages, and walk with canes with a celluloid feathered doll on top. But a lot of Creole ladies used the occasion to bring out their first spring suit. I also thought it was so fun to dress in costume. My father never even let us eat candy outside normally. My favorite thing about Mardi Gras was that we could eat in the street. The street was full of booths, with blacks selling fried chicken, fried fish, and red beans. Some of the people held open houses on Claiborne, for their friends. Claiborne was lined with beautiful oaks then. We would go to see the Zulu parade, which was on Claiborne Avenue from Canal Street to St. Sometimes I could go, but usually my father wouldn't let us miss school. There really wasn't any Mardi Gras in Madisonville - everybody left for New Orleans in hay trucks. I remember going to Mardi Gras parades and seeing fried chicken being sold on the street.
